New digs...

Well folks, we are officially moved! YAY! As of May 22nd, both Bobby and I are in our new home...living above the garage at Brian & Amy's house. So, since we have moved...so has the blog. Check out our new blog at: www.bobbyandbekah.blogspot.com

That will be the only blog that I update from now on! Enjoy!

Soooo....

We moved all our stuff home on Saturday! YAY! It was definitly a hot one out...but we had some super swell helpers! Thanks to Dad H., Mom H., Jessica, Nicki, Jesse, Rob, Coleman, Matt, Christen, David, Brian, and Amy for all your help! You guys ROCK! We could not have done it without you!

My car broke down on Sunday afternoon. Ha! Waiting on the verdict for that...had to rent a car to get back to Richmond, but it all worked out. And by God's AMAZING grace, neither Bobby or I got the least bit frustrated or anxious when our car started making extremely loud and strange noises! God has definitly used our cars to work on our hearts!

Now, we are back in Richmond for about 4 more weeks...or something like that. For the next couple of days we are staying at our empty apartment. Well not completely empty. We have an air mattress, a laptop, a pot, a pan, and a steady supply of books to keep us occupied! Right now, at this very minute...we are at Panera. Just needed to get out...its kinda strange when all you have to sit on is the floor or the air mattress...it gets kinda clausterphobic...yeah.

GOOD NEWS! I am getting out of school a WEEK EARLIER than I thought! YAYYY! My new last day of school/work is May 22. YES! So I get to be home a week earlier...joy!

Bobbys gearing up for finals. Trying to get himself organized as we go from our empty apartment to his aunt's house, as we clean and paint the apartment...and try to figure out all the little things that need to be done when you move. But, we are so excited to be home sooo soon! Moving our stuff into our new home this past weekend was so cool. We both got really excited and didn't want to leave!

Packing, Spades, and Senecals...

Friday night our good friends Rob and Coleman came up to visit. Well really, they came up to work, as they so graciously offered to help us pack. So, we put them to work! Yesterday, after a big breakfast, we packed....and packed...and packed! We got sooo much done! It was such a blessing! After packing pretty much everything we could, we headed down to the river for some Spades! We have a running Spades competition...boys vs. girls....and yes...the boys always manage to win. Last night especially, they really came alive in the "fourth quarter" as Bobby went Nill with some big cards in his hand...and yes, they got it, and won! Oh well...next time Coleman...next time.

Thank you both soooo much for coming up to help us! It was a HUGE blessing! We love you!

Interviews...

Just wanted to give an update on my job search. Last Thursday I had an interview at Atlantic Shores for a teacher's assistant position. The interview went really well and I am more excited than I was about the possibility of working there! The principle said that she is almost positive they will have a couple of positions available but I won't know anything until the end of May sometime.

Also, this coming Friday I have an interview at St. Patrick Catholic School. Pretty excited about this one too. The school is relatively new, the facility is beautiful and its in Ghent! So please pray for this interview and that I would get a job at one of these schools!

Easters...

Happy late Easter everyone! We really had a lot of fun being home this weekend with our families! Especially celebrating the resurrection of our precious Savior with family and friends!
